Spring is shining, the April month has been enriched by brave people who talk universally and take action universally, two constitutional kings who confront a president gone wild and two brave women conducting the Santa Marta Conference on Transitioning Away from Fossil Fuels.

As is said in a constitutional monarchy : King First 😉 Dutch King Willem-Alexander visited the USA and told the president we disagree on fundamental points ! While British King Charles suggested that true support and collaboration is what brave Nations do, implying defending Ukraïne, and the urgency to safeguard Nature apropos the climate crisis.

Two brave women, from Columbia and the Netherlands, conducted the conference on Transitioning Away from Fossil Fuels, held in Santa Marta, Columbia, where fifty-seven countries participated who did not need to be convinced but wanted to translate their concerns into real actions.

There will be support for those countries that are ready to transition away from fossil fuels by dismantling legal, financial, and political barriers to the energy transition, the innovation of a financial system that can support the transition, and building fossil fuel free trade systems.

It is good to remind ourselves today in this time of conflicting government policies that there is an enhanced awareness worldwide on what the Climate Crisis does to the Earth and humanity at large. As is said : Climate change is deeply linked to biodiversity loss, human rights, economic prosperity, trade, health, and such a thing as misinformation.

At the same time the conference will present its decision report to the next COP31 meeting being organised in Turkey this year, in this way preventing that the Industry will boycot, as usual, any decision making but that the way is cleared for expanding actions. Now, that is progress !
