Just when you are thinking will there ever come an end to this aggressive nonsense, Orban loses, triggering Spring celebrations in Hungary and in the EU and in every heart of freedom respecting persons. On another continent, a president compares himself to Jesus, and loses many of his followers 🙂 Spring is springing beautifully.

Also the Pope can be helpful in times like these, when he says “the delusion of omnipotence” that is fueling the U.S.-Israel war in Iran and demands political leaders to stop and negotiate peace. “Enough of the idolatry of self and money!. “Enough of the display of power! Enough of war!” That is what I like to hear more often from the “top” of the world.

It all remains hope but hope means the expectation of you never know what good can happen. One bit of good is that in some countries people are able to break through the extreme policies that an oppressive minority want to force on them. If this means a universal awakening in larger humanity then there is surely reason for an invigorated hope.

Sitting on a terrace of a café is like entering a bubble of wellness, one sinks away in observation mode, looking at the stream of passers-by that you were part of yourself just two minutes ago. How quickly one transforms into another person, provided the cell phone is switched off.

Meanwhile Nature’s Spring is showing its wonderful colors, the full-of-wonder season. In the Calanques the main pigmentations are yellow, pink and white. They brighten the more sober tinted forest areas, contrasting with the dark trunks and muted green of leaves and needles.

Hiking in the Calanques has become popular, this goes for all ages, especially older people who rediscover the joy of movement in enticing Nature, some follow an official tour guide, but what is truly promising is that school children are taken out into Nature by their teachers who show and explain the wonders of fauna and flora they are treading in.
