The last weeks of autumn, when you expect not to see much anymore of the colorful season but then actually do, even half naked trees with some color leaves left make a statement of beauty. It’s the transition from one season to the other but at any time Nature remains wonderful.

Late afternoon light reflects the season well, sometimes brilliantly lighting the last of the colorful leaves. You can see that birds are more at ease now compared to the summer, the atmosphere has something tranquil and they are part of that. So do people if they stop talking 😉

But talk you must at the COP30 and that results in responsible thinking and action. The main formal decision of COP30 issues a historic call for humanity to unite in a global mutirão or collective efforts against climate change. Almost 200 countries reaffirm the strong commitment to the Paris Agreement and formally endorse a transition from a phase of over three decades, since 1992. That makes it appear like Back to the Future.

This years Conference of Parties on the Climate Crisis depicts the true colors of many nations, some did not participate while others commit to serious action. The awareness of urgency of action is there while the resistance is not taken seriously anymore. That is a breakthrough.
