The morning temperatures here in south France have dropped to Autumn level while in the afternoons the sun can still come out to a pleasant embrace. The summer is over. We are now on Toussaint day, All Saints Day, also called Hallows Day and Halloween has derived from that but is celebrated the eve before to let first all your devils loose. Which is different from the spectacle of colorful costumes and skull images el Dia de los Muertos in Mexico that is a tribute to the dead.

Whereas the general political state in the world is stifling, the Netherlands celebrates that the grip of a far-right political party has been loosened by a 38 year old leader of a liberal party in the general election which gives fresh hope for a period of emotional and mental well-being to say the least. The future is meant for leaders of young age.

A new attempt to come to world coordination regarding the climate crisis takes place in Brazil this month by COP 3O, the conference of parties. Mostly, such world conferences end up with not more than promises but it is worth to keep trying to meet, discuss and decide on climate policies as the climate crisis is forcing us to change.

There is the scientific conclusion that people who have a connection with Nature enjoy better health and well-being and feel more responsible for the natural environment. This sounds obvious however many people live in urban areas and they would be more focused on income and material life. Nevertheless, the climate crisis is not an individual or regional issue but a challenge for Earth and Humanity.
