You could google that or follow the lyrics of this wonderful song How Deep is the Ocean How High is the Sky by Irving Berlin. Oceans’ depths can be measured but it would miss the point of the love for life. The current exhibition at the Natural History Museum, here, attracts my attention, simply called Oceans – it inspires for its beautiful display.

Even the skeletons of a stingray and a big sea spider look like pieces of art, not as something scary. The spirit behind this exhibition is to show the beauty of marine biodiversity in this time of climate crisis and abuse of sea life by overfishing and industrial pollution. Creating awareness to save and protect the creatures of the sea. This awareness we have.

The science behind the climate crisis and overfishing and industrial pollution cannot be denied. It is bluntly ignored by most of the Industry and governments who place the economy at the top of society. But, responsible people also want a life that is sustainable, for themselves and their children and future generations – a longterm perspective.
