Red Bud Avenue

On my way to the Calanques, after 3 weeks not having been there, looking out of the bus windows, I notice that the Redbud trees are exceptionally full this Spring. Rich red blooms cover the tree branches. I decide to enjoy this splendor and start walking back from the bus terminal to take in this colorful display, albeit amidst buzzing traffic.

While taking photos, a child on a tiny bicycle asks me what I am doing. I say taking photos of those trees with their beautiful red blooms. He understands. Other people passing by get inspired to take photos with their smart phones. Motorbikes, cars and buses keep vrooming by.

Other Spring flowers catch my attention, my favorite Peony with its red and yellow heart. Not to forget the uniquely elegant and artistic Iris. This is just the beginning of Spring. A delightful season, that makes you want to forget about these ridiculous crooks who are crashing into the world with their destructive imagination. They shouldn’t last very long. 😉
