And then there is another mountain
The pull of Autumn
Each one at his own pace

Whatever the cause for the collapse of the political field and the indifference about the climate crisis, reality shows that there is another mountain to climb before humanity comes to a unity where there is no label anymore of left or right. Today, personal resilience is important.

And to resile comes for free, by entering Nature. On a recent national holiday, I was pleasantly surprised of the many people who flocked to the Calanques, people of all ages, to enjoy the last summery days, the refreshing Autumn air, maybe also to enjoy the Quiet although it wasn’t.

At the beloved Vieux Port, an accordionist plays heart-touching French chansons while wearing a big smile. In this area people seem at ease, it’s a place for everyone. Until I want to enter the museum Mucem and the unsmiling guard asks me if I am carrying a knife in that shoulder bag. A bit taken aback I wonder “should I”? It is no joke, an inspection follows.

Today asks for a sense of humor, a big heart, a smile, no antagonistic play but seeing the others as your fellow beings living on the same planet with the same needs for safety, a home, a progressive life for yourself and for everyone. Remember?, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
