Ever Changing Sentiments

When I thought to call the pastry I bought the delicious “guilty on all 34 counts” cake I noticed that other people’s sentiments were not exactly the same. Well, even furious, while something common had happened in the current chaos of emotions – the application of standard laws.

Le Panier is a district known for its artists and people who love to place plants near their front doors, and for its more artistic graffiti. It is also the location of La Vieille Charité, a historic art museum that I was happy to visit after having viewed too much of the eye-catching graffiti.

Nature is still the best place for me to find repose, to come back to one’s true senses in the quiet of its rejuvenating decor. I often experience the same when viewing ancient art from India, Egypt, Greece, Italy and the European masters of painting – our deeper essence shines through.

Since the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris do also women athletes participate. A significant leap forward. The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris comes with another historical breakthrough – gender equal games, the same number of women athletes as men. The recognition of the universal Spirit, equal in all. True sentiments do prevail.
